Yay - Progress!
Feb. 27th, 2007 01:23 amWith the most able and kind assistance of the fab
hiddentass, we accomplished all moving goals set for the evening: waterbed emptied, frame taken apart, and all bits stuck into the garage; all media shelves now unearthquaked; curtains taken down (blinds'll be easy and won't require power tools). And he got my Yahoo! addressi exported successfully to Gmail! YAY!
ToDo - Tu, 2/27/07:
- vacuum bedroom
- take car in for LOF
- shift coffee table/trunk to bedroom
- shift *** PAUSE *** A HUGE spider just ran across the couch (where I'm planning on sleeping tonight) and down into/onto my pillows...now I quite LIKE spiders generally...but I do NOT need to be quite this intimate w/'em...okay, cannot find him...will shift my head and sleep w/my feet by the Spider Haven...*shudder*...now back to the list...
- take waterbed to Goodwill
- box rest of what's on bookshelves in living room (except for books to be returned)
- box wine
- box rest of CDs and mystery stuff on bottom shelf of stereo cabinet (what's down/back there?!)
- box cassette tapes
- box stuff on top of hall closet
- empty and dispose of (Goodwill) 'puter hutch
Hmm. Noticing that the hardest/toughest/most annoying stuff's being left for last. *sigh* NOT WISE/GOOD. The tough stuff needs to happen when I'm NOT at my most exhausticated. So, when I can, I shall: deal w/piles o' carp by 'puter hutch & on folding table to its right. *sigh*
Oh, yeah, gots to deal w/and send off tax stuff soon (write letter to CPA, fill out forms as best able, copy everything, send off w/address change info. And other stuff... *yawn*
It's a nice blustery night out. My wind chimes're jangling. My tummy's happily full o' numbly fresh-baked apple pie courtesy of the most excellent
stacymckenna. This all helps my marvie mood along quite nicely. All that must happen CAN happen...and WILL happen. Now 'n' again the excitement of what I'm doing shines through the haze of what's req'd so I can head Northward/HOME. Must needs sleep NOW...

Date: 2007-02-27 02:22 pm (UTC)I am going to suggest you call Goodwill first. When I moved, they wouldn't take my beds. As I recall only the Salvation Army takes beds. I would double-check of course. It could have just been the Goodwill near me.
