This morning featured the trad'l Sunday Farmer's Mkt on Main Street, Sta Monica. Today's music was FAB! We forewent the beach-walk portion of the excursion to hear 'em play for longer. Critical Brass kicked serious jazz-hip butt. And they're playing at Jack's Place in Glendale o'morrow night (Mon, 8/28), I think. They said something about Jack's and Glendale and o'morrow night but I'm not finding info on-line so amn't certain. http://cdbaby.com/cd/criticalbrass

Intermingled w/good moosic: fresh crepes & fresh squoze OJ, figs & raspberries, lovely greens, 2-for-1 flower bouquets during the last hour (score!), and more cheese. The cheese exchange w/

delerium3 went like this:

MLE: Do we have any cheese in the fridge?
HER: We have LOTS of cheese in the fridge. (w/firm tone of voice as in "we really do NOT need MORE cheese")
*pause* while she tastes the lemon quark
HER: Ohmigod - this is SO good...we NEED this cheese!
MLE: We'll take it. (It's the last one)

Later: it goes great w/raspberries and with gingerbread and with raspberries & gingerbread. Mmmmm.
