It's perseverance, not preserverance. Giving strong consideration to writing the correct spelling on the board so my "mentor teacher" stops teaching kids the wrong word/wrong way of saying the word. We'll leave aside for now her frequently posed question (and modeled speech) of "where's X at?" as opposed to "where's X?"

And yes, France is indeed in Europe. Furthermore, although it's true that traditionally the Italian use lira, the French use francs, the Germans marks, and the English pounds, there's actually a new monetary system now used in Europe called the Euro. This fact has extreme historical and political significance. Even if such details aren't provided, can we at least acknowledge the fact that the Euro exists?

Am being observed today so hopefully the young rascals will hold it together for 30-45 minutes. Three (3) days shy of the half-way mark. Time's fleeting and also dragging.
