Just awoke from what seems like a travel-anxiety dream: rather than the two Queen beds they promised us, they expected us (somehow
nonperdeventura and <"lj user="deang"> had become part of the group rather than just me and
delerium3) to share a single twin bed...and then the mgmt stuck a child in the closet and opened the connecting door to the next room over so the kid's mom could travel freely 'tween her room and her kid's closet...the police were also wandering through, investigating something, but luckily
stacymckenna showed up w/the name and # of a good P.I. who she said could help...meanwhile I spent at least part of my time flying around a gorgeously green wooded dell surrounded by rivulets of coursing silvery water courtesy of a fancy new wrist-cell phone w/a fly-by function...and there were people eating my food outta the fridge in the summer house but leaving multiple gallon bags of cooked rice for me to enjoy (w/out eggs or veggies so I couldn't even make fried rice)...and there were neck rubs...and.... Okay. Now it's starting to leak outta my quick-term post-wakeup memory.
Really, I'm feeling fine and happy and excited...and amused by the dream...and wanting to fly more and visit this green & silver zone.
Experienced Ashes and Snow at the Nomadic Museum yesterday. I highly and heartily recomend this. Don't spoil it though by checking out the website. It's next to (just North of) the Sta Monica pier. If'n you really want full details, here they are: http://www.ashesandsnow.org/en/exhibition/nomadic-museum.php
After touring the exhibit, we ambled down to the surf, stood for a time under the pier pilings, strolled up the beach, strode up the stairs, and watered ourselves (w/Guinnii) at The King's Head. Afterwards I spent a most pleasant eve at home, watching "Reefer Madness: The Musical" and giggling and talking by the light of 21 candles, a lava light, and a glowing demonic happy cat.
