Drive Rush

Driving in the pounding rain gives me a bit of an adrenalin rush. Starting to come down now. Really nice day at the Getty Villa checking out good art & gardens (mmm odorifous (?) herb garden), complete w/a snack of lemon terracotta at the cafe (can't remember what 'twas really called) and amusing comments about some female character on a pot appeared to be holding the handle of what looked exactly like wheely luggage. Great griffins, one of which will prolly end up as a teapot spout. The rain held off 'til post-museum, which was nice of it. Headed back to my casa afterwards so AJ could check out my bee curtains and valences in situ, since she'd sewn (hemmed) 'em all for me a while back. As it turned out, delerium3'd gotten off work early, so she was there/here, too. Since my eve plans had already shifted, we ended up going out to eat at Gate of India: YUM! And this way I got company for the drive back after dropping off AJ out past the 605/60 junction. Did I mention the POURING RAIN?! Home again home again jiggedy jig. Oh, yeah, was a Snuggelicious day as well: scored some fab high quality pale yellow bee towels from Restoration Hardware!
