Mighty Fine Days
Jul. 15th, 2013 12:10 amYesterday: more boxing (now up 11 big book boxes filled), followed by 3 Get-Togethers (Weenie Roast chez G&M, Porch Party w/![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jaylake &c., and introvert get-together featuring quiet conversation plus games of Set, Cthulhu Fluxx, and Cards Against Humanity w/ferociousbcycad &c.)
Today: With the assistance of friends, I got lotsa needful stuff done: put up window treatment on Hive Magnum's front door, stuck first piece of art up on HM's wall, replaced West-side leaking hose bib w/non-leaking hose, procured hardware for 1st floor windows, &c. After all the runnings around and taking care o' stuff 'n' things, we repaired to the current Hive's back deck for grillings and tropical beverages and good music. A fine summer day 'n' evening!
O'morrow: shuttlingjaylake around for appts, &c., plus more New House stuff, followed by an evening decompression get-together for GearCon volunteers/helpers.
Faerieworlds = upcoming over the final (long) weekend of July (Wed, 07/24 - Tu, 07/30)...
