Staying Home This Weekend

*pout & grumble*

Okay, hoping finally to foil the phlegm factory for good by spending the weekend quietly at home rather than madly dashing Northward to socialize, do garden &c. work, &c. Won't whine and whinge and *wah* (too much), but'll instead act all grown-up and sensible.

Okay. I'm gonna take a whole bunch of hot baths and drink lots more hot tea and cuddle w/kittenhead Havana and lose myself in fiction and take it easy and get well, gorramit (sp)!

Okay, gonna take a phlegmcheck (think raincheck only thicker & greener ;-) for a weekend jaunt Northward.

In other promising news: Progress Towards Developing A Blood Test for Mad-Cow Carriers. Perhaps one day I'll be allowed to donate blood again, since my year living in the UK way back when makes me ineligible, despite my insistence that no mad cows bit me!

I wish I could post something 'bout Egypt and thereabouts, but in keeping w/the Re: line of this post and remembering what mom always said 'bout how it's nicer to say nothing if there's nothing nice to say: *insert sounds of silence*
