Quickie W'end Recap

Fri, 10/16/09: flew PDX-SEA, ran errands w/lightfoote (including sampling and procuring om-nom-nom freshly-pressed apple cider from Minea Farm), worked on - and completed some - household projects together, experienced "oops" aka boo-boo intimacy, cooked & enjoyed eating Rumpleteazer.

Sat, 10/17/09: worked on more household projects, went out for tasty food (Toyoda Sushi) w/lightfoote, wildwoosi, skarlett, and bensong1 followed by really good music at the Bone Poets Orchestra show.

Sun, 10/18/09: Tiki Turkey = good times & good food & good gaming (Zombie Fluxx and Demon) w/lightfoote, wildwoosi, skarlett, bensong1, quetz, blot, philkensebben, and kidlets.

Clickie for Pickies

Now back home at the Hive after a pleasant & lovely drive down w/a really nice visit and Injun-chow lunch w/vismaya_viewer. May head out for the usual Tuesday night music show (The Pagan Jug Band), or may opt to stay home w/the kittenheads and mellow quietly w/a book and a bath instead. 'Pends on whether a friend of a friend gets back to me.

Counting

I'm about to spend an unprecedented 23 days (sleeps) straight here at home at the Hive. I don't think I've stayed put for this long since I moved here over 2.5 years ago. (I'm not sure I've stayed at home/close to home/anywhere this long for years, actually.)

Looking back over the past six (6) weeks, I've spent 13 full days at the Hive, 11 full days at CopperMoon, 2 full days elsewhere, and 16 days traveling. Many of the so-called "full days" in one place included day-trips elsewhere. If'n I stayed overnight at the same location where I woke up, I'm counting it as a full day (sleep) at a single location.

I'm too...something (exhausted, perhaps)...right now to know what to make of all this. Guess I don't really need to "make" something of it at all. Huh. What a concept. It's factual. Judgment not needed. And yet...

Too tired right now though to bother. Skipped the music tonight in favor of a long hot vanilla-bubbly bath w/a book. Sleep beckons.

Two (2) years ago today was Bob the Bee Kite's 1st flight. Thanks for adding so much wonder & magic & delight to my life, lightfoote. I'm deeply in love w/you.
