Rave: Live Music
Oct. 13th, 2009 09:55 pmI LURV it! Tonight was the new/now trad'l being of the Irregular Pagan as I availed myself of public transportation (my car's up at CopperMoon since I flew SEA-PDX this morning and'll return on Fri, then drive back down to the Hive/PDX next Tuesday) and enjoyed yet another marvelous evening of live music (bluegrass & zydeco & what-have-you) courtesy of The Pagan Jug Band. O'morrow may well find me at another local venue for the Brothers of the Baladi, who puts on an awesome show, complete w/local belly-dancers. Then this Saturday I'll be up in/near Seattle for the Bone Poet Orchestra featuring some super-special-goodness.
Life is good. Met new people tonight, danced, heard 'bout the annual Halloween show at Slim's. The 90% chance of precipitation forecast for today finally kicked in - it poured like mad whilst I was having dinner, listening to music, and dancing at Clinton Corner Cafe, but 'twas dry both coming and going, albeit windy as heck.
