Fun w/Improv

Improv's a lot of fun. Much good energy, quick thinking, story-telling, wandering and meandering and shifting and jumping around (both physically and mentally). Sleep's no longer beckoning. She's shaken her head in disgust, given me the finger, and trundled off to bed herself. I must now do the same. But first, a question: do you consider Sleep a She or a He or an It (Gender-Neutral) or None of the Above/Previous? *yawn*

Love the Summertime

Went walkies this evening, roaming up towards Mt Tabor Park, stopping off for a spell to water LJ-less L's plants b'c it's been warm today, although cooling down quite nicely already now. Ended up sitting on her front porch reading and listening to great music for a while while the soaker hose did its thing. Somewhere not far away an awesome jam band was playing. On my way back to the Hive, I wandered around and found this source of music. Someone in the neighborhood's having a huge Grateful Dead party. Managed to score the name of the host and hostess and learn that I could join the merriment, but I was happy enough just to keep wandering and listening and enjoying the late light and the warmth and the scent of night-blooming jasmine and the fuschia-colored sunset and the sliver of the moon rising and the sounds of laughter b'c lots of other folks were out and about taking advantage of the wonderfulness of summertime as well.

Home again now w/windows open wide and fans blowing and kittenheads clustering nearby (not actually on me as it's too warm still for that). Gonna curl up w/a book and a mug of frosty coldness and have a nice quiet evening. Happy peacefulness abounds.
