Being Productive

Today's a nice balancing act 'tween garden & camping prep, although really, it's more of a juggling act given the myriad of details for each/both, interweaving themselves throughout the day. I really Really like prepping for things: making lists, pulling together all the bits and pieces needed, getting ready...then MAKING IT SO. It feeds my inner Virgo oh-so-nicely. Along the way I take time to sip hot tea, stare out the window at the trees, grass, doggerals, hummingbirds, other birds, big woolly birds...wait, those're llamas! ;-)

Back to it...wheeeeee!

Oh, and realizing that today's only Tuesday and not Wednesday has pleased me immensely.

Feeling Pleased

Done outside for now. Managed to finish weeding bed #3, completely weed beds #5, 6, and 7 (as well as the paths in-between), haul the weeds outta the garden, harvest llama beans for mixing into soil, start turning bed #5 (then stopped b'c I couldn't remember the plan for the bed), start spreading woodchips on the garden paths, scrub and refill doggeral water trough, play w/doggerals, tidy up girls' hay-catch box which'd apparently gotten knocked over during some shenanigans, and along the way began my tanning program (it's called working outside). Also did laundry for camping. Now to shower and go grocery shopping in preparation for dinner tonight. I haven't made Chicken Paprika in far too long, so tonight's the night.
