As A Bee

High on the list of To Do's tomorrow night: experience Aleister Crowley's The Rite of Venus, performed as a rock opera at the CoHo theater here in Portland.

Been busy. Been having fun. Been doing stuff and taking care of stuff and going places and seeing people. Went dancing. Out late. Now: relaxing at home. Yay for relaxing at home. Upcomings include not relaxing at home interspersed w/spells of relaxing at home.

*****
Available: small doses. Apparently that's it for now. Better than nothing. Better than a poke in the eye, a jab in the ribs, a knee to the groin. Not as good as a soft caress, as lips brushing against mine. Later, perhaps: roaring fires, soaking waters, tasty meals, dialogue & interaction, art, theater, all the bits and pieces that make up life.

Feeling like it's time to take stock, to note where I'm at*, to consider what's next. No. Not gonna set a real specific plan. Instead gonna take a look at the big picture. Need to take the long view. Telescope-time rather than microscope. The moment is nigh to consider the glacial passage of time (replete w/icebergs), redirecting the shift and floe/flow as desired.

Time to get back to it.

When earlier in time I take the time to think things through, then when the time gets closer it's best NOT to second guess myself. Instead, I must take care to ignore the insanely bizzy caught up in the whirl of the moment self's justifications and rationalizations. In other words, I'd already written KEEP FREE - RELAX for the w'end of July 7-8, 2007...and I must and will keep it free and make no plans then...or at least none that take/keep me too far from home. Also adding KEEP FREE/RELAX for the final w'end in July (27th & 28th).

How far is too far?

It's important to balance X with Y versus X against Y. I seek to participate in non-competitive balancing acts.
