As low as I felt yesterday, that's how high I'm flying now (no, NOT like that - it's just that I'm imbued w/energy and can-do spirit). Dunno where it came from (a good night's sleep didn't hurt any), but don't care...I'm gonna kick boxing butt today (or at least for a while this morning).

So, if anybody feels like hosting one in say, the next five (5) weeks, I've got a whole bunch of stuff to toss into the mix, including the classic black '70s Danskin wrap-around skirt (perfect for disco dress-up), '80s shoes & boots (retro-NOW), female professional work clothes (mainly size 14), funky t-shirts, misc stuff, and loads o' other marvie olde stuff.

EDIT: Hoping for the afternoon of Sat 3/10/07 ('cause I have plans that evening) chez [livejournal.com profile] ebony_sphynx, NOT AT MI CASA O' BOXES. *fingers crossed* Details to follow...

Whilst [livejournal.com profile] delerium3 had her way w/glassware in the kitchen, I attacked the bedroom closet and cupboards above the closet. Damn this place has great storage space! Found a stash of lovely woolens, including a pair of size 10 (pre-size inflation) grey Pendleton wool slacks that're older than any of us and a long tweed skirt that my grandmother picked up in Ireland many decades ago. Culled clothes to the point that I believe what's left'll fit into the bedroom closet in my new casa in PDX. Yeah, this does NOT count costuming which'll live in the wardrobe I need to go get from Home Despot and/or in the attic closet. Methinks the attic'll serve as my office w/desk, stationary & notecards, desktop 'puter w/router, as well as extra visitor space w/a chest o' drawers and an inflatable Queen-sized Aero/Minute bed, once I figure out the best place to acquire the latter and get it. Had a late lunch at Figtree's in Venice Beach, looking out at the ocean and people-watching. Yup, I'm making the rounds of my fave spots, savoring the moments, and saying au revoir. Feeling really good 'bout everything today. :-)

"You've been walking the ocean's edge, holding up your robes to keep them dry," writes Coleman Barks in his translation of the 13th-century poet Rumi. What he means is that you've been too tentative and inhibited in your relationship with the tidal forces of love; you've been holding back from giving your total devotion to the primal power that fuels the universe. "You must dive naked under and deeper under," Barks and Rumi continue, "a thousand times deeper!" Consider taking the poets' advice, Virgo. If you can't manage diving a thousand times deeper, try to least make it a hundred times. Happy Valentine Daze! - Free Will Astrology Horoscope - Virgo
