Minorly sleep-depped this morn. (SO worth it, I say.) Just realized a couple of hours ago that I've got another teacher friend who's schedule now matches mine (summer off as of this week), so now I've got a zombie/ lunch play date for o'morrow: yay! (I recently missed a free screening of the Undead and will miss a freebie Land o' Dead this w'end so must go out and pay matinee prices to keep abreast of the workings of those that groan "Brains!"*) Unfortunately, he also wants his 4th Firefly DVD back. My apartment has swallowed it, so I must now go purchase the entire season myself and return the final disc to him, which should trigger the reappearance of his 4th disc (which will become mine). Mini-grumble, mostly *shrug*...sh!t happens.

Something delightful things happen. Mega-recent events fall squarely into this category. Pleased & contented sum up how I'm feeling right now.

Note to self: take the Pleasure Chest dice OUT of my pocket before visiting w/fambily this w'end!

Damg it felt good driving over Sepulveda Pass into the dampness this eve. Santa Monica's covered with a cool comforting cloak of fog. This stands in direct contrast w/Newhall where it felt like triple digit heat blasting down on me earlier today. I'm done w/moving. Finished. Had 'nuff. ('Til next time anyway.)
