Exploding Luggage

Slept poorly: kitties rampaging (see what haps if'n I'm gone for a couple of daze?), tossing and turning and twisting the sheets into knots, the single line "mostly holding" on repeat in my brain (damn Poxies!), and the worst: an ongoing/recurring (last night only - hopefully) dream where I'm traveling and it gets rushed so all of a sudden I find myself on a shuttle bus to another part of the airport w/just my purse but w/out my carry-on or suitcase. By the time I realize we're moving, it's too late, the bus has pulled away and my rush to get a decent seat (and then turn around and grab my bags) has resulted in the likely - nay, certain - confiscation and destruction of my luggage. I start telling airport employees that I need to go back and get my bags, only to be met w/shaking heads, tsk-tsk's, and shrugging shoulders. Apparently it's too late: it's gonna get blown to smithereens. B'bye to my journal (gasp - although perhaps better than being read by TSA employees), camera filled w/pics from recent events, notebooks, fave clothes in heavy rotation, etc. will soon be gone, history, charred bits. Now I know it's just a dream and I'm unlikely to do something as silly as this...but it didn't make my snibblets of sleep particularly restful.

Off to Doggy Stadium tonight to see the local debut of the Washington Nationals...not Mutuals as I started typing - sleepyheadedness makes me silly.

Damnitalltoheck&backagain! My internet access and/orYahoo's been extremely slow and annoying and frustrating tonight...and I do NOT NEED ANY MORE FRUSTRATION OR ANNOYANCE IN MY LIFE RIGHT NOW, thank you very much. AAARRRGGGHHH! FINALLY managed to send off an e-mail to my prof of my draft lesson plan for Wed (due much earlier this evening), and it's not an attachment but just unformated text dumped at the bottom of my apologetic e-mail. But it took several tries and over 1/2 an hour on the finally successful attempt to get even this much out. Must now try to get some sleep. Maybe I should count sheep. Will take a shower first, as I'm all het up now, even tho exhausted to bits.
