A Dear Friend suffered a broken knee last year. She gave me sound advice by noting that healing's a non-linear process. My healing has often followed this pattern: a day of great progress followed by a quiet day of recovery. Yesterday served as my quiet day following the previous day's big progress - outside world walking and errand-running. Even so, I socialized w/friends for a couple hours in the afternoon and stayed up for a movie after dinner. Best of all, I slept well last night! I needed that.

Not sure when I'll next make it outside. Going to avoid the rain and related slipperiness for a while yet. Soon will work more on increasing my strength and stamina. Walkies, HO!

A chunk of my recovery plan consists of numerous visits to the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden. Admission's $5, but my membership'll get me plus one in, and it's free on Mondays. Clackamas County Library (LINCC)'s Cultural Pass program allows once/month reservation for a pass for up to four (4) people - https://culturalpassexpress.quipugroup.net/

Do tell if'n you'd like to join me sometime! Blossoms and soon ducklings and goslings. Pretty all the time! Slow-going...
