A gaggle? A giggle? An ennui? A manifestation? An infestation? A grove? A groove? (Really wanting something alliterative, in case you couldn't tell.) A gathering? A murder? (No, that's crows.) A shimmer? (Nope, that's butterflies). A herd?
EDIT: A gang?
Yesterday at D-land was marvie, 'cept 'twas too bleeding hot. Kept to the 20 minute max ride line length rule. Actually made it through everything w/only 5-10 minutes wait. Finally did Space Mountain! Quite fun, but not hugely different from what I remember it. Fresh and new rather than olde and worn. Still prefer California Screamin' (now closed 'til OSHA deems it safe again) - THAT's the bestest RC ever!
Finally got around to exploring the 2/3 of Downtown Disney we didn't even know existed. There's a House of Blues there (well, I KNEW this, but hadn't found it before), and a mess more restaurants, and a huge LEGO store w/R2D2 squeaking and Darth V breathing heavily - made completely outta Legos! And a 2-story tall giraffe and a cute kitty...and much much more: COO-EL! At one stand you can get your hair beaded, like at Venice Beach - only for many more times the price and w/out quite the good selection of beads.
Attractions hit:
A Bug's Life water splashy get cool and comfie zone (w/much laughter ensuing when
delerium3 was waiting for a blast of water from zone A on her back then zone B erupted from the side, hitting her square in the boobies w/several gallons of cold)
Tower o' Terror (I like this better and better each time!)
Rainforest Cafe (I laughed so hard my stomach muscles ached -
delerium3's jump when the gorilla we were sitting right next to starting its routine - shaking a palm tree AT her head and going "ooogity boogity" - triggered a massive giggle fest...and not just for us. A woman from another table came up and told us how much they enjoyed the reaction...thinking they mighta thought 'twas part of the show!)
Monorail (D-town D-ney to O'morrowland)
Pirates o' Caribbean
Davy Crockett's Canoes
Pooh's Acid Trip
Haunted Mansion
Star Tours
Space Mountain
Ran into just 'bout all the gothlings I know, all together in one [INSERT APPROPRIATE MULTIPLE DESCRIPTOR HERE], which was fun and satisfying.
May return to D-land on Wednesday, but really hoping this next D-day trip doesn't happen 'til next week, as I'm leaving town this Th for Carmel, returning on Monday (Labor Day itself) hopefully in time (and with energy) to jet off to the H'wood Bowl for Rocky Horror, so need to pre-sleep to make up for what I'm surely gonna miss this w'end.
