A Really Good Long Weekend

Fri, 11/04/11: Evening PDX arrival w/supper at Sapphire Hotel.
Sat, 11/05/11: Slept in, then snagged
Sun, 11/06/11: Wandered lots around my neighborhood, enjoyed Fall colors 'n' sunset 'n' views from Mt Tabor, played frisbee, got books at my local Powells, &. Wandered the foodcarts at Good Food Here (I'm excited b'c the Viking Soul Food cart is now here...even if'n closed on Sundays) and chowed down on tasty goodness from Namu. Toured Movie Madness (and picked up more movies to watch). Had tasty tasty meat 'n' pizza at Apizza Scholls.
Mon, 11/07/11: Did more walkies around the neighborhood, b-fast'd at Cup & Saucer, took bus to Willamette waterfront for OMSI for BodyWorlds: The Brain (WOW!) and to play w/the hands-on stuff (including
Tu, 11/08/11: We headed back downtown to visit Lan Su Chinese Garden and enjoy tea in the Teahouse in the Tower of Cosmic Reflection. Before heading to PDX so he could return home once again, we headed up into the hills of Washington Park for a stroll through the Rose Gardens and a visit to the Thorn Elementals near the Children's Playground. Finally, we hit Voodoo Donut, a fine final stop on a whirlwind tour of Portland.
