Mini-Pound Cake Results

Well, I should've waited for the toothpick to come out FULLY CLEAN, likely another 1-3 minutes, which'd've make the total baking time 24-27 minutes. They're good, but not great. Next time they'll be better!

Now to check on the chicken stock simmering in the pot, shower, then start in on 7-veggie casserole for tonight's potluck.

yeah, the clean toothpick is usually the very best indicator on cakes, regardless of what the edges look like...:-)

(just like bread - if the corner bounces right back when you push it in, you're good...)

Well, there's a nasty cold going around and soup's the best remedy (along w/sleep and rest), so it's best to be prepared.
