A Cheshire Cat Moon

'Twas a lovely post-rainstorm crisp clear mountains-showing day today. Tonight featured a perfect Cheshire Cat moon. Spent another fab afternoon/eve at D-land w/delerium3. And no, I haven't forgotten...we plan to spend a long full day w/you, redefining_self at the Mouse House, but this wasn't the full day's worth which you deserve. It was also far more crowded than usual. Is there some weekday (or w'end day if need be) 'tween January 16, 2006 and January 29, 2006 or some day that's not a Monday or Wednesday 'tween Jan 29 and Feb 9 that'd work for you? Many of these daze are free and available. After that, school starts interfering on many weekdays, although w'ends will often still work.

It's amazing/amusing how much fun you (at least WE) can have without even entering the park! After a couple (or so) hours in Downtown Disney, chatting and drinking and giggling while avoiding the overflowing and splashing and spraying bar beer tap/keg issues (snort/hee!), we finally wandered over to:

CA Adventure:
Grizzly Rapids (2x - we discovered the trick to getting to stay on the ride two times running (back-to-back): ride w/several cute giggly screamy 15-year old girls and have THEM ask the young male ride operator if we can stay on for one more round)
Orange Buzz
Maritime Merry-Go-Round
Tower o' Terror

i have been to Disneyland a total of two or three times, i think. People are so excited to go, and i always keep wondering what it is i'm missing -- i mean, i have a good time, but it seems like there's something more exciting to be had.

enlighten me...am i just going with the wrong people?

I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to get there again. 'T'would be fun to hang out with you and Delerium (presuming she can go as well) at Disney. In all the years that I've been going there I've never been on the Mark Twain. Not much else I've never done there.

Right now Disney at night sounds like a wonderful thing.
