Good Long Day
Puttered about this morning, then met up w/![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
darthsunshine and several others for a delightful picnic in Laurelhurst Park. A couple of storms're due here tonight/tomorrow, so this was really a great last blast of Summer sunshine (w/9 or so different types of good cheese, lotsa fresh fruit, chix salad of tastiness, &c.) Afterward, I took Ferris Bueller's Day Off over chez jaylake and we gave the_child her first viewing of't. Much giggling and guffawing was had by all. After that, the_child chose Hanna for us all to watch. 'Twas really quite good. Not sure how I managed to miss even hearing 'bout it when it came out a few months back.
Have realized I spaced on posting the link to pics from last Tuesday's hike in Forest Park (ATC # 16).delerium3 & I will finish up the final 8 miles on Fri & Sat (09/30-10/01/11). It's gonna feel SO good to have that all done.
Tomorrow will be tough, but I'll get through it, and then'll be in better position to get on w/my life and create my future as I see fit w/out waiting around any longer.
