Underwater Cobras

More dreams... Parts were okay (one bit surprisingly pleasant even), but what sticks out was unnerving: Mom & I were going to take a dip, but as I sat on the bank and dangled my foot in the water, I suddenly put my arm out to stop Mom from diving in, as I'd noticed a long-@ss snake in the water, and then another (a cobra, underwater, neck flared), and as I looked around more came into view/focus. I counted at least 10 snakes (mostly cobras), then slowly pulled my leg back and up outta the water. Dunno what happened next, but my heart was racing when I woke up.

I, too, was having vaguely disturbing, water-based dreams last night. (Being on a ship that was too tall to get under the bridge but attempting it anyway, attempting to retrieve my fins from the first floor of the partially-submerged hotel while running dangerously low on air, husband and his bicycle disappearing from our cabin, etc.) If I were still into dream analysis, I'd say it meant something, but these days I'm more apt to chalk it up to coincidence. :)

That's an interesting dream!

Sometimes I have dreams about snakes so numerous they cover the floor... oddly, I am not concerned when in the dream, about being bitten... I just don't wanna STEP on any of them! I end up tiptoeing around and getting very anxious.

I wonder, when you dreamed this, were you afraid of the pottential entanglement if she dove in? Or of the poisonous bites? or perhaps even of the water ebing somehow 'bad' (tainted or just dangerous) where it wouldn't have been sans snakes?
