A Storm's A-brewin'

It's nice 'n' sunny right now, out the South side windows. Ditto looking out over the back porch (West) - and the lilac tree's in full purple majestic bloom right now. It's all quite lovely. But there's a whole lotta dark gray & darkness looming out East 'n' North. The wind's starting to kick up. Forecast calls for 80% change o' rain w/possible thundershowers. Something definitely rolling in. When the windchimes start jingle-jangling like mad, that's when the real fun'll begin. :-)

Meanwhile, I'm happy and pleased that folks'll come visit me soon. The leader of the Great Northern Orphan Invasion arrives at Union Station by choo-choo this afternoon, laying the groundwork for the full force arriving on Sat. I've got the space here and I do so like visitors coming to visit. *bounce*

We've got snow in the foothills out this-a-ways. And I hear we're in for some more wind too. Fun to know Winter isn't quite done yet. :-)

Today I was out walking in the sun when big ominous clouds rolled in. Then the sun started shining on us again, while soft snowy hail(?) pellets started falling. Wacky weather!
