Scheduled Activities

Sat down earlier and made up a schedule of when to take which drugs over the course of the next two (2) weeks w/out really thinking that at 10pm I'd not really want to EAT anything (even a bite or two of Primo's Donuts, the bestest around), but the final dose of one of these thingies (5x daily - ugh) must be taken w/at least a bit of food. Having done mostly NOTHING today, so I'm just not that hungry. Plus, one of the side effects of what currently ails me is the continued feeling of Novacaine still wearing off in my mouth - slight numbness and definite taste distortion. Okay, it's amusing when I eat soup (most of my diet of late), as I tend to dribble it which starts me giggling, which does NOT help matters at all. Guess I gotta go do what I must in order to get well. Sigh. My patience sux. In a bad way.

And now to instill more eye drops into my right eye and tape it shut for the night. Must remember to procure more eye pads o'morrow!

That was the biggest problem I had during the last meds go-round. I didn't want to eat when I had to take them with food. My issue tends to be eating in the morning, and I usually just don't. The only thing that ended up working for me consistently was protein shakes.

Loves to you.

The morning feed ain't a problem - I NEED to eat something in the morn or it's not so good. Will prolly get some protein shake makings/cans/jars for my late-night with food requirement - thx for the suggestion. Any you can reco as being decent? Okay, now I want a protein date shake (oxymoronical though that may be).

I like the EAS brand. In particular, they have a dark chocolate flavor that's good. The strawberry is synthetic and weird, but in a fun Strawberry Quik sort of way. When my tummy's unhappy, the vanilla is really mellow and still actually tastes good. There's also a generic chocolate fudge.

You can find them in the supermarket, they're like $6 per 4 pack, and you're most likely to see either the Body for Life red package, or the Carb Control silver.

If you get really into them, they have coffee variant ones, which I've only seen online.
