Interesting tidbit: It's time for psychologists to put their house in order. BMC Psychology pledges 'to put less emphasis on interest levels' and publish repeat studies and negative results.

My research into ADHD has also revealed fascinating tidbits about procrastination. In addition to the perfectionism pitfall, ADHD often incorporates issues of disconnect about time, a very hazardous case of living in the Now. Or the need for the adrenal response of imminent doom in order to motivate adequately to initiate a project. It's like everything she lists here, but magnified by neurobiology.
