FEED

It's been a while since I've picked up a book and not wanted to put it down and just stayed up reading 'til I reached the end (just minutes ago) regardless of exhaustion. FEED is just such a book. Wowzie. Not-far-off-in-the-future political thriller w/zombies. Characters you care for and about. Good stuff. Read it.

My dreams tonight could prove...interesting. And before I go to sleep, I'm double-checking to make sure all doors're locked.

So how were your dreams?

Not too bad, actually. This past weekend I dreamt a LOT, and often remembered 'em for a time, although not to write down, b'c as soon as I tried to put words to the images they fled. Active brain-life going on here, apparently.

Best wishes w/the end of the school term! Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday. Oh, any chance you could pick me up from PDX (SW # 3495 outta OAK) at 3pm that day (Sat, 6/11/11)? It'll be fab hanging w/you then! Enjoy PDX and Hive 'til then, too...

I won/t have a car since I'm coming by train (first time and I'll get to navigate the Met to the Hive!) but I can try to meet you there :)

Easy-peasy to get here by public transportation: http://trimet.org/go/cgi-bin/plantrip.cgi

What day and time do you arrive?

No worries re: trying to meet me at PDX, unless you feel like adventuring out yonder on bus 'n' MAX (RedLine). I know how to do it via public transportation, having done it many times before. I figure you've got far better ways to put your limited time in Portland to use!
