TidBits

Finally (for now ;-), I've realized I like it when folks post all their links in one go rather than scattershot throughout the day, so here're my TidBits for sharing, if you care to click through:

TidBits:

My Photo Sets, in case you wanna SEE what I'm up to these days (and those).

The Great Rite. This feels to me as if'n 'twere written by someone w/marketing experience but no real knowledge of or interest in sacred sexuality. But mebbe it's just rubbing me the wrong way. Does it resonate well w/YOU?

Top (U.S.) TV Commercials of 2010. Since I actually watched the SuperBowl earlier this year - and had a great time doing so at Madison's w/[livejournal.com profile] ferociousbcycad & [livejournal.com profile] poeticlioness - I'm more attuned to ads then I usually am.

The above set fails though, as it skips this FAB tea ad. Hmm, perhaps it's a new one for 2011. I've not watched TV since the SuperBowl, so don't really know.

Nitikin Fulminating Kraken Rifle. As the manufacturer, LJ-less Tony, notes: "Damn the tentacles! Full Speed ahead!" Can't you just imagine hearing LJ-free? Crier James calling out the news: "sweet steampunk salvos savaging cephalopods!"? You know you want it, you know you need it...

I'm ENFJ (Idealist Teacher). Howzabout you? (Sorry, I don't have a decent link to a free test here/now.)

If'n you missed this a couple weeks ago, I urge you to read it now: Part-Time Librarian's Short Speech to Appropriations Committee re: Proposed Maine Budget. We need more people like her saying more things like this...as well as those in charge to listen and act appropriately.

Speaking of squirrels (or not, since I removed an extraneous link ;-), here's Mittens! This dark comic appeals to me quite a bit. Caveat: YMMV.

Fan-made opening credits reimagine Doctor Who Buffy-style.
