World Cup Soccer
USA vs. England - St John's Pub & Theater - tomorrow (Sat, 12 June 2010) - match starts at 11:30am - ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lightfoote and I plan to arrive around 11am - if'n you wanna join us, give a shout before 11am (cell phone if'n after about 10:30am) and we'll try to save seats for you, too.
Good canoe refresher out on Hagg Lake today. Lovely day w/out too many people. Saw birdies dive down and snatch fishies outta the water. Neither the eagle nor the osprey doing this surprised us, but the RAVEN - that I hadn't expected! Really nice rambling drive back via McM's Grand Lodge for dinner than on back country roads (Germantown Rd &c.) to avoid rush hour traffic (quite successfully).
Back home at the Hive again, ready to introduce ALF to "Better Off Dead," which he's somehow now seen. Of course, it'll likely be a while 'til he sees it all the way through anyway... ;-)
EDIT: There's a parade happening, so we're staying closer to home and'll instead be at the McM's Bagdad Theater Back Stage Pub for the game this morning/early afternoon.
