Sigh of Relief

I'm safe & sound here in San Jose at Mom's. Travel was amazingly easy and uncrowded and nice. It's sunny and nearly 60 degrees out, just lovely. Last minute presents're all wrapped. J's been cooking and it smells delicious in here. The tree's pretty. And there's a box o' goodness here sent by the oh-so-sweet ebony_sphynx who rocks my sox always. :-)

Eventually we'll all (l'il bro & g-friend, Mom & hubby J, & I) carpool up to Berkeley for x-mas #1 w/Mal 'n' Al (my dad & his wife). *smiling*
