This past week's been lovely and sunny and bright and cool and windy: lovely Fall weather. Fambily (AJ) arrives in <1 hour. Now they're forecasting the strongest storm of the season to roll into town o'morrow. Argle!

We'll have a good time anyway, but might not make it out for any waterfalls visits out in the Columbia Gorge after all.

Ooh, I disagree, it's a perfect time to visit Columbia Gorge waterfalls, with rain keeping tourists away, no crowds, lines or waiting, just break out the rain gear, says the Washington native. ;o)

AJ & I ended up going out waterfalling/Gorging yesterday on the way to the Hive from PDX (yeah, 'twas roundabout, but quite lovely and nice). The sunset was AMAZING and lasted about 45 minutes. We did a bit of walking and saw several nice waterfalls and had a fine time.

Today was nice and sunny, too. delerium3, AJ & I walked Hawthorne Blvd, shopping and browsing and chatting, 'til they left for the Petting Zoo and I took off to fetch L from PDX then went to class. Another good day!

Glad to hear you made it out despite the weather and were well rewarded with hiking, waterfalls and sunsets made of awesome; sounds like a yummy day indeed. :o)
