Fun w/Improv

Improv's a lot of fun. Much good energy, quick thinking, story-telling, wandering and meandering and shifting and jumping around (both physically and mentally). Sleep's no longer beckoning. She's shaken her head in disgust, given me the finger, and trundled off to bed herself. I must now do the same. But first, a question: do you consider Sleep a She or a He or an It (Gender-Neutral) or None of the Above/Previous? *yawn*

*considers* Usually an It, but when It requires a gender, it's almost always a She.

I had not thought of that before.

Now I'm going to be wondering about my gender assignations for all sorts of bizarre things.

I love to give things like sleep a personality, a name, a face, a... character!

That said- I think it's more a JOB- and thus, held by all genders. Sometimes sleep is a wicked cool hand with long fingernails, stroking my cheek. Sometimes he is a naughty little man, sending me wicked dreams... sometimes a sweaty sleepy woman bidding me one more moment in bed... who knows? Maybe there's a whole 'department of sleep' in the otherrealms?
