Quickie W'end Recap
My w'end was bookended by musical outings: VNV Nation & Duran Duran. Last Wed night, after dropping off ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wildwoosi and her traveling companion LJ-less C at SEA-TAC, lightfoote and I headed up to Seattle for VNV Nation, where we got to spend some quality time chatting and hanging out w/inkandalchemy, jibb, skarlett, and LJ-free M, amongst others. Thursday = gardening and racquetball. Friday found us driving up to Bellingham (all on back roads) for a gorgeous grand fun day sailing around Lummi Island w/friends. After a delightful Saturday morning at the Bellingham Farmer's Market (where we had local bison sandwich and numbly ice cream from Mallards), we drove back - still mostly on back-roads - and in the evening opted to skip downtown Seattle altogether in favor of enjoying local cul-de-sac and above-the-racetrack fireworks and good company courtesy of the Village People chez vonvoncake & dillenger69. Today featured gardening and napping at CopperMoon and then a really nice BBQ w/Tiki House (blot, philkensebben, quetz, LJ-free A, and Her Cuteness JudyPants. One thing led to another and we found ourselves enjoying a lovely evening outside at Marymore Park, enjoying a free (for us all anyway) Duran Duran concert. Clickie Here For A Few Pics From Today.
