Why Do I Even Ask? ;-)

So, in order to see whether I could help guide myself outta my floundering, I decided rather than (or perhaps precisely to) grab at straws, I'd pull a rune o' the day instead/as well. As I walked over to the bag, I said to myself, "it's probably gonna be Hagalaz, because it usually is, 'specially when I'm feeling like this." And lo and behold: Hagalaz is indeed what I pulled out after shaking the bag and swirling the contents around w/my hand then giving it another turn over and tumble before reaching in and grabbing one. Of course.

Hagalaz: Disruption / Elemental Power / Hail. Radical discontinuity. Change, freedom, invention, liberation. Operates through reversal. Expect disruption. The Great Awakener. "Perhaps you will experience a gradual feeling of coming to your senses, as though you are emerging from a deep sleep. Then again, the onset of power may be such as to rip away the fabric of what you previously knew as your reality, your security, your understanding of yourself, your work, your relationships or beliefs." Oh, joy. Time (once again) to grow.

So, we each need to build a fort under the covers w/a flashlight, some dark chocolate, and fluff fiction - escape for a time, then reemerge more fully charged and better able to face everything!
