mlerules | "Je Ne Capitule Pas" (Reply)

Just rooted through a box of olde carp from late high school-early college (UCSC), chucking fully 7/8 of it, keeping mainly blank paper/notebook pages and a few personal-journal-type writings. Astonishing to look back at all I've forgotten, as well as who I was back then. Emm was a lot less self-assured, fairly lost and uncertain, worried, not liking group situations/interaction. I've come a long way (baby), even though certain themes from back then still resurface even now. Have realized that my WanderLust's likely always been a part of who/what I am. Nowadays though I seem to travel more TO than FROM. My driving force isn't so much out of a need to flee as a desire for geographic closeness/connection w/others who live far(ish) away.
