Localized Rain

Sorry to you jaded PacNW folk for rambling, but this whole rain experience is still exciting and new for me. Right now, f'rinstance, it's raining on the back porch and as far as I can see out that direction, while it's NOT RAINING AT ALL IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE OR OUT THAT DIRECTION. Very coo-el.

...I drove through a little squall getting home but in our little neighborhood, the kids were playing in the street. I love this weather. It is a very short drive home and the weather was this gloriously multilayered roiling experience.

Growing up in a valley in PA, it would rain alot on the one side but not the other. You knew to carry an umbrella if you were going on the other side of the Ohio river. :D

This is going to sound strange...but your picture is very striking. You are a very handsome man with great bone structure.

I realize how weird that sounds, but I paint and sculpt so I notice things like that.
